*Huachuang Securities Research Institute has successively released the sales data of Alibaba's cosmetics from January to March in 2021. The data shows:

1. In the first quarter of this year, online sales of skin care and cosmetics showed an overall upward trend.

2. The GMV of Florasis and Perfect Diary both exceeded 200 million yuan. Among them, the GMV of Florasis ranked first for three consecutive months; domestic brands such as Runbaiyan, BioMESO, Proya and other domestic brands have increased significantly year-on-year; international brands such as Estee Lauder and L'Oreal are in strong performance during the big promotion.

*Caijing.com reported that L'Oréal's sales in the first quarter of this year increased by 10.2% to 7.61 billion euros. E-commerce revenue increased by 47.2%, accounting for 26.8% of total sales. Among them, driven by a 37.9% increase in sales in mainland China, L'Oréal's sales in the Asia-Pacific region increased by 23.8% to 2.78 billion euros.

 

*On April 13, French Ticuli entered the offline cross-border experience area of the Tmall international flagship store and the LITTLE B brutalist beauty lifestyle concept store, and launched trial operations in China mainland market.

It is reported that France Ticuli will officially enter the Chinese mainland market during the "Five & Five Shopping Festival" in Shanghai starting on May 5th. So far, L'Oréal China has introduced a total of 27 brands into mainland market.

 

Hainan Duty Free Shop News

A few days ago, the Information Office of the State Council announced that three new duty-free shops have been added to Haikou and Sanya, respectively, and the overall number of duty-free shops on Hainan's outlying islands has also been expanded to 10.
